Herb Crusted Lamb chop
Ingredients:
- Lamb Chops
- salt, to taste
- Freshly Grounded Black pepper, to taste
- 3 tsp olive oil,
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled and smashed
- 4 tbsp Breadcrumb
- 5-7 gm fresh Italian parsley
- 1 tsp fresh rosemary
- ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese(55 g)
- ½ tablespoons whole
grain dijon mustard
Instruction:
- Preheat oven to 200°C
For the herb crust
- Put the breadcrumbs, parsley, rosemary, parmesan, 1tsp olive oil, some salt, and pepper into a food processor and pulse for 10-15 seconds, until all the ingredients mix. Transfer in to the flat plate and keep aside.
For Lamb Chops
- Season lamb generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat a iron skillet over medium high heat.
- To the hot pan, add in 2 tsp of the olive oil, along with the lamb and garlic. Sear all sides of the lamb until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove browned lamb, and place cooked lamb into a baking sheet.
- Coat each lamb chop with Dijon mustard, using a silicone brush.
- Coat the top and sides of the lamb with the herbed crust and roast in oven for around 25 minutes.
- you can Serve with mashed potato and buttered veggies.
